’n Boek wat ’n baie groot indruk op my gemaak het is The Screwtape Letters deur C.S. Lewis. Alhoewel hierdie nie die eerste van sy boeke was wat ek na The Chronicles of Narnia gelees het nie, is dit die een (van sy boeke wat ek reeds gelees het) wat die grootste impak op my gemaak het. Indien ek “Christelike” boeke moes rangskik in die volgorde waarin dit die grootste invloed op my spirituele lewe het, sal Screwtape net onder die Bybel wees vir my. Volgende sal Lewis se Mere Christianity wees. Nodeloos om te sê; het Lewis ’n blywende indruk op my gelaat. Sy eie spirituele reis is ook baie interessant en inspirerend:

The Inspiration that is C.S. Lewis
One of the books that have made a huge impression on me is The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Although this was not the first of his books I read after The Chronicles of Narnia, it was the one which made the biggest impression (of the books I have read so far). If I had to rank “Christian” books in the order in which they have influenced my spiritual life, this one ranks just below the Bible for me. Next in line is certainly Mere Christianity. Needless to say, Lewis has left a lasting impression. His own spiritual journey is also very interesting and inspirational:
